Career & College Ready Standard Focus:

Soledad Unified School District is focused on 3 Major Career & College Ready Anchor standards to support the professional development, teaching, and learning around this year’s Systematic Instructional Framework. The Career and College Ready standards anchor the Common Core Grade specific standards and define general, cross-disciplinary literacy expectations that must be met for students to be prepared to enter college and workforce training programs ready to succeed. Students advancing through the grades are expected to meet each year’s grade-specific standards, retain or further develop skills and understandings mastered in preceding grades, and work steadily toward meeting the more general expectations described by the CCR standards.
